Any New Jersey Rider Insurance customer facing financial hardship as a result of the pandemic can contact us and we will work to customize a solution that meets their specific needs. Customers who reside in New Jersey and are facing financial hardship will be offered, at minimum, a 90-day grace period to defer premium payments due, retroactive to April 1, 2020, or the option to begin the grace period on May 1, 2020. Customers may pay deferred premium payments over the remainder of their policy term or over 12 months in up to 12 equal installments, whichever is longer. No late fees, interest, penalties or other charges will be assessed for deferred payments.
